Origin

It started with shipping.

Bengaluru, 2019. A full-stack internship at Xelpmoc where the job was to write whatever the problem needed. I found out there's nothing quite like the quiet Tuesday feeling of watching a real person use something you built.

Craft

Engineer first. Product always.

Seven years on and I still read code every day. The best PMs write specs an engineer could almost compile. The best engineers think about who, not just what. I try to sit in that overlap.

Principle

Build work that compounds.

Ship things that earn interest. Decisions future-me can still defend. Teams that leave each quarter a little lighter than they arrived. That's the kind of work I want to keep doing.

How I work

Six things I believe about making software.

01

Plan deeply. Ship decisively.

A plan you can defend beats two weeks of hacking. I spend real time on the what and the why — narrow the problem, write it down, pressure-test it. Then I get out of the way and ship.

Engineer, amplified.

Seven years of writing code, and I ship faster now than I ever have — because I pair with AI every day. Claude for the thinking, Copilot for the grunt work, me for the taste. I still read every line I ship.

Design for the Tuesday.

Demos are easy. What matters is how the product feels six months in, on a quiet Tuesday, when no one's watching. That's the bar I build to.

Drawn to hard problems.

Multi-tenant architecture, AI at scale, messy human networks. I'm happiest when the work is technically real and the audience is real too.

Lead by writing.

Clear docs over long meetings. Decisions that future-me can audit. A team should be able to onboard from Notion alone — and I hold myself to it.

Invest in people.

The engineers I've worked with are the real output of my career. If you leave our team sharper than you arrived, I did my job.
